« The current Managing Director, Mr Prem Beejan, said that opening casinos at Belle Mare and Flic-en-Flac can only be the way forward to redress the casinos which are making about Rs80 m. of loss per year », avance Osman Mahomed.

«I know that there is a number of measures that have been taken in order to redress the situation to profitability. These measures include , the finalisation of the collective agreements with the trade unions;  the undertaking of short-term investment plan for an amount of Rs50 m.;  restructuring of the senior management team to improve the customer service level and the introduction of the on-the-job training across all levels;  the reintroduction of wearing of uniforms, reintroduction of new gaming machines, and  a number of other measures that are being looked at so that the future situation does improve », dira Pravind Jugnauth.
