Le Commandant Patrick Hofman et le pilote Bain Ulyate peuvent compter sur le soutien indéfectible de leurs collègues. En effet, ils sont plusieurs employés, dont des pilotes et autres membres d’équipage, à avoir envoyé, hier, des correspondances à la direction d’Air Mauritius pour réclamer la réintégration sans condition des deux licenciés. Ils font appel au dialogue et au bon sens du conseil d’administration.
“I humbly request that both be reinstated unconditionally. You will thus show the leadership qualities we are all looking up to you for, and help restore the confidence, pride and the sense of security we strive for as members of the MK family”, écrit Shezaan Laulloo en sa capacité de pilote. “The situation prevailing since the last couple of days has been far from healthy and productive for our airline. It’s great time for us to get out of this so-called crisis”, écrit, pour sa part, le First Officer Avish Gunesie.
Le Capitaine Emmanuel d’Hotman plaide pour que la situation ne dégénère pas. “But lately that same year has been tarnished by the recent events and I honestly believe that we have never experienced this level of tension in MK. During flights, in cruise, instead of talking about our nice week end or hobbies, we are always talking about how we were ask to work on an off day, cancelled annual leave, overtime not being paid, and other contractual agreements not being honored etc etc… and all of that is not healthy for the moral of the troops Mr CEO”, souligne-t-il.
Soulignons que les deux licenciés ont déjà soumis leurs lettres de réintégration, hier. La balle est maintenant dans le camp du board de MK.
